yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...................

Yasmin Krull

“Excile,” is another Enya cover which is ace and darker than the original. Must have been something in the water. Reminds me of the Christms album by the Nightwish vocalist.
Yeah God

Indie rock guitar that remind me more than anything else of Crazyhead. Signed to the pretty prolific Chapter 22 “Look Better Gone,” something of a gem with sprinkles of the Mindwarp in the aftertaste.

Yeht Mae

“Take Him Out back,” is all chanty repetitions and trancey build ups

Yendri
Either very quickly memorable or “Suck my life out,” is heavily based onsomething else but they claim full song writing credit

Young Gods, the

Quite Tangerine Dreamy with vocals that feel almost traditional folk. Formed in Geneva in the mid-80s originally signed to Play it Again Sam.

Young Knives

Nylon suited Bauhaus Wannabees. For more info try here or here.

The Young Knives are also responsible for introducing me to Industrial as drummer Oliver was the only person I knew with MTV and the first time I heard Ministry was through the video to Jesus Built My Hotrod on Headbangers Ball.

I also made a no budget slasher movie with the Dartnell brothers which used the Alice remix off “Under the Gun,” as its soundtrack

You Shreik

Poppy electro-goth that wouldn’t be out of place on a Nightbreed comp. Almost how you would imagine Soft Cell would sound if they reformed (ignoring the fact that they did and didn’t)

First cut on the Grim EP is rather nice with an eastern feel in a kind of Sandstorm way.
